Hello here's my problem; I have installed of my computer anydvd.. and I don't know if it's since that moment or I hadn't noticed it before but dvd decrypter is not willing to make a iso of a cd disk, not a dvd.. whenever I insert a CD; dvd decrypter says "disk is not a dvd', in the past, i was able to make iso of CDs but not anymore; even if I go back to stpi; and disable anydvd it doesn't seem to function like it used to be. thank you all for any possible answers sincerely Mario.

I fully agree.. I know other ways to make iso from cds, iso buster, winiso, magiciso, alcohol, but I was only wondering why from a certain moment on, i can't make iso from dvd decrypter while i was able to do it in the past with the same version; or maybe even older versions, I don't think that it was downgraded or was it? thanks anyway... sincerely. @MarioGarcia I'm fairly certain that no version of DVD Decrypter has ever processed CDs in any way...

I have copied CDs (ISO mode read/write, unprotected data CDs) with DVDD on computers without other burning programs installed. Very handy! GL

@GrofLuigi Hi! May I ask what version of DVD Decrypter you've used and with what settings?

There used to be an option (way way way back) to ignore 'disc not dvd'. This was meant for DAEMON Tools, not to allow people to read CDs. I removed it when I added support for MDS files.

It has never officially supported CD ISO creation. IF you happened to have a very weird drive (and probably just a CD-ROM/R/RW drive) that gave out rubbish when queried for certain info... maybe, just maybe it would have let you read a CD to an ISO. I guess it could also have been a bug that got fixed in later versions... but I don't remember ever hearing about such a thing. Otherwise, sorry but your imagination is running wild!

@LIGHTNING UK! Thanks for confirming the accuracy of my postings to this thread. I was beginning to suspect that I had developed yet another "loose screw" ;>}
