I have a prblem when I trnscode a DVD movie with DVD2AVI and TMPEG. Il the movie is 16:9 Interlacced or Progressive everything is ok, but when the movie is 4:3 Interlacced DVD2AVI show me some black lines during the preview. When I transcode the 4:3 Interlacced movie whit TMPEG the transcoding is succefull but when I record the final DVD this DVD function correctly on any computers but in my standalone player the plyback is not fluid. I use DVD2AVI 1.76 and TMPEG 2.56. Now I use Rempeg2 to transcode a 4:3 Interlacced movie, is there a way to transcode a 4:3 Interllaced movie with DVD2AVI and TMPEG ? :scared:

Of course there is. Well, at least an interlaced AVI ... I do it all the time with my DV videos, which doesn't go via DVD2AVI. Have you tried it on a pure avi? What is "not fluent"? Is it field-order-not fluent? I assume that you do all the necessary changes in the settings to prepare for the different aspect ratios and prog/inter. Somtimes TmpgEnc's automatic detection of the nature of the imported files might not be correct. Cheers

I have changed the field order from B to A in 4:3 Interlacced Movie and everything is OK, the final DVD playback is fluid and not jump. Thanks for your help:p
