I have used Smartripper to extract the VBO files to my hard drive, then run DVD2AVI to try and create the d2v and wav. The D2v is created fine, but the wav file does not appear. I have tried a couple of different modes in DVD2AVI, the DOLBY DIgital is set to Demux all tracks. The Stats windows shows the audio information AUDIO FORMAT DD 3/2 448 along with the length of the movie. I am sure this has probably been anwered b4 but I couldnt find a suitable response searching the forum. Can anyone help please

Are u sure u didn't unselect Audio stream(s) in Smartripper Stream processing tab? Or did u use some strange VOB split settings, other than "every Vob file"?

Hi mustaneekeri Yeah I did process all VTS_01_?.VOB files, the Audio doesn't come from a second direcory does it? I thought the Audio was part of the main VOB files. There are some other .VOB files on the CD VTS_02_?.VOB, VTS_03_?.VOB, VTS_04_?.VOB, VTS_05_?.VOB but they dont get selected if I choose the Movie option in Smartripper The first time I didn't change any audio streams, the second time I thought I would try removing the French and Subtitle streams but still made no difference.

Yes the audio is part of the main VOB files. U should be able to get AC3 file(s) (or MPA if MPEG-audio) when saving DVD2AVI project file, if all the settings are correct and if there is audio present in VOB files. U could also try to play your VOBs from HD to make sure they contain audio. BTW is Track Number set to Track 1 and Channel Format set to Auto select in DVD2AVI? If this is ur first rip, it's likely u just have to read the Guide again...
