Too many JS

Hey all, I don't often post, and I am only a casual user of Reaper. But one thing that always kind of irks me is trying to find the needle in the haystack of JS plugins. There's just WAY WAY too many and I don't know which are great and which are crap, so I barely ever end up using any except maybe MIDI transpose. And even the MIDI category has too many MIDI tools, many of which don't quite do what I expect. I think it would be best to pick the REAL CREAM of the crop, maybe 20 or so, support and improve them, and let the rest be unsupported optional installs. Then I will know which filters != suck, and I might actually use one. :) Just an idea.

I really think that the open architecture of JS is great and triggers users' creativity. We should keep that, it is so great. Now, a JS guide would be great. The Reaper manual helps to get started, by the way. Tweak and learn ...
