Does anybody have any idea how many Waves Renaissance Reverberators one can run on a fairly empty session 10 tracks max, no other plugins, and no automation. The most I can go right now is three or four before I crash. G5, single one 1.8, 1 gig ram. Any help will do. thanks

Hi, one work around is to insert the verb plug-in on an aux track, input it to (let's say) bus 1 and then bus (send) as many tracks as you like to that bus (1).

I know how to do that but it just seems that I am not getting enough out of my computer. Its a good idea doing that but I can tell that with just two verbs on my mac it puts it right on the edge. And I've got a really small session going. Thanks

I love the Waves Renaaissance reverb but it really uses up the CPU. I can only run two on a 1gig G4 before my system spits the dummy. I would have hoped a new G5 would run at least three or four.

Thanks for the input I've done close to a weeks worth of research, pulling my hair out and all paths lead to the same conclusion, that the waves renaissance reverb should come with its own nuclear powerplant. I was sure I was doing something wrong but it kills your CPU, just a plain simple fact. thanks guys.........somewhere in oregon

Find what you like and use Audiosuite. Works like a charm.

Hey variedmantella , I have a dual G5 2x2 running 10.3.2 and a oo2 rack I got 14 tracks with 1 Renissance Verb on each track. Keep in mind these are stereo tracks too.. I had my sample rate set to 1024. Processor performance set to highest. This is more power than you would ever need. This computer rocks hard. B.p.
