Reaper v.2.12 In preliminary testing, I seem to be able to record 16 tracks of 44.1/24 to my Macbook running Leopard, 2GB RAM, with no glitches, but I have yet to try this "on the job." Anyone with real (reel?) world experience? I do shut off the WiFi<g>. D.

External FW drive. I really just need the 16 tracks of 44.1/24 but want to make certain that it will be problem free. D.

I can do 16 tracks of 24/48 to an external drive thru my PowerBook. It's a matter of drive speed/buffer size wrt how big of a capture you can do. I wish I could find a CardBus eSATA adapter to see how far I can REALLY push my ol' Faithful.
