Im working with Vegas and i got material in PAL. Project settings are PAL. Now i must use some clip that is in NTSC format. In what ways will this be a problem? - Height isnt the same, but letterboxing will be eanbled i belive. - Framerate isnt the same i know. Anyone know basicly what will happen? Will render as PAL interlaced for DVD. Will the interlaceing be so bad that the NTSC parts will really look bad? Any ideas on this?

you have to decide to one telecision standard for editing. the opposite standard has to be converted before editing, then. so, if you intend to edit as PAL, you have to convert your NTSC footage to PAL, using one of the various AVIsynth-scripts being here in the forums

I have tested adding the files to my PAL project and vegas looks like it handles it good. Im just affraid it will look bad on a tv or projector. but i can only try and see.
