I created 1 m2v and 1 ac3 file. PowerDVD plays this file (m2v) no problems. Media Player Classic plays this file no problems. I now use IfoEdit to author a new DVD, and it goes about multiplexing the m2v and ac3 and produces the DVD files. PowerDVD skips frames and jumps when playing the vobs. Media Player Classic plays no problems. My Standalone (Bush DVD) has lots of problems (not my media, tried and tested). In the case of PowerDVD and MPC, I am playing back the vobs from hdd not the dvd-r media, so this rules out the media. Now, If I author the vobs using tmpgenc dvd-author, the resulting vobs play fine. I wouldnt mind, but it takes far longer to create the vobs than IfoEdit, and isnt free :) Any thoughts? I tried to search on this but didnt turn up anything.

It was discussed before. IfoEdit have problems with NTSC stuff. Try searching for "IfoEdit NTSC". FFS
