MIDI Zoom bug - 3.11

This bug has been there awhile. My mouse settings are to zoom to track under mouse cursor, both horizontally & vertically. This works correctly in the regular track window, but not as its expected to in the midi editor. 1) Horizontal to cursor in track view - FINE 2) Vertical to cursor in track view - FINE 3) Horizontal to cursor in MIDI view - FINE 4) Vertical to cursor in MIDI view - NOT WORKING, should zoom to the kick track where the mouse cursor is, but instead it zooms to selected (or the middle when not selected) note. Also in this release, the MIDI zoom is not smooth, but jerks around.

This has been "broken" for a while (iirc you've reported it several times in the past). The problem here is it says "Track under mouse cursor" (vertically) so maybe it's working only in the Track View. For consistency both settings should work (renamed) for both Track View/MIDI Editor. NOTE: Here horizontal zoom is "broken" too and I can also confirm zoomimg in the ME is jerky now.

"Jerky" is the right word to describe it! Confirmed here, too!

I found that if u put the midi editor in anything but synced the zoom works as advertised. Guido
