CPU usage is suddenly over 500%

Hi everyone, I have recently purchased REAPER and I'm loving it! But I'm having some issues when mixing my projects. The CPU usage is, on average, around 25%, but suddenly it goes up to 500%. Even when I close REAPER, my computer works slowly for some time. It's strange, because I have already bounced some tracks (the ones with heavy plugins). My computer: Core i5, 4Gb RAM Thank's!

A plugin with a denormalisation issue perhaps? Open the performance meter and see if you can spot which plugin(s) are misbehaving. Steve

you might also keep a watch with the processes cpu usage in task manager... reaper can take some time to exit all it's processes sometimes and you can see it there...
