What would you say? When we have unchecked the Master/Parent Send of a track its VU metter to be dimmed? And also: If we have some sends to other track then I/O button to be dimmed! I think that could be great!

The dimmed I/O button is already done mate. Master/Parent off -> dimmed. The dimmed VU meter comes to mind if the track has no outputs anywhere, though not when there is at least another (active) send going from that track.

If you have used Ableton you probably know what I mean. In Ableton when you Send a track 1 to track 2 (for example) and give the Only Send to go out to track 2 and then tr.2 the master then the track 1 VU meters get blue or purple, maybe violet. So either one of this is good. Now we have dimed I/O button. But it still doesn't say that there is a send 'cause maybe there arn't any. So... a dimmed but active VU meters (or maybe a choosen custom color for that) could be useful.

+1 for this. Resurrecting an old thread here, sorry, but I just now found a real need for this. Tracks with parent send disabled would be so much easier to spot if they could have their meters colored differently, dimmed, grayed, purple whatever... Maybe with Walter it is now possible?

you can do it with a layout in WALTER, then create a cycle action that switches the layout and toggles the "master/parent disable" ... then give it a key command of your choice. Serves 2 :)
