G4 performance with Digi001

I just bought a Digi001 and I am using it on a 350 MHZ G3. I am getting ready to purchase a G4. Can anyone tell me what kind of performance they get out of their G4. For example, with 24 tracks, how many EQ's, Compressors, Reverbs, etc... can you get. Also, what setting do you have your processor max usage set to. Thanks for any info. AJA - I use a G4 500mhz SP - & have had pretty great results. I use Waves gold bundle & set CPU usage at 85% (with 5.01 upgrade) and w/ 24 tracks can get 3 truverbs, about 10 RenComps, about 50 bands of EQ, usually a delay and/or flange and/or chorus, L1 on the master fader & sometimes can squeeze in a stereo imager on the master as well. However to do mastering type effects you can BTD then import stereo back to 2 tracks in another session & then add limiting, multi-band compression,stereo imaging etc, to save CPU cycles in your tracking session. Reverb is by far the most CPU intensive plug so use them wisely. Also don't forget about Audiosuite - I use this to commit (you can change it later if you end up not liking it) to effects that I really dig to fill in the gaps when "that error message" shows. So far I'm not wanting for too much more (but I'm sure that will change). Hope this helps Tony

Thanks for the input, you guys. It really helped me out. I think I'm going to try and find a good deal on a 500MHZ single processor if I can find one. Pete
