New Harness = New Problems

So I put in the new harness in my 002 rack now i get these really cool pops and clicks printing onto my tracks! even when nothing else is playing i updated my os to 10.4.1 i updated my pro tools to 6.9.2 i run the mics into a tascam dm24 out via light pipe into the 002 rack into a mac g5 2.5 where are these clicks coming from i never had a problem before i updated

Have you set the ProTools clock source to the external tascam device?

i am not sure what its set at i will check that out first thing when i get home from work thanx

If you're using the Tascam for both input and output, you might be able to set ProTools to be the clock master. But, if the Tascam is used for input only, with one optical cable, the Tascam must be the clock master. The system needs one, and only one, master clock.
