Yeah, but project is dicontinued 'couse author lost source code (HD crash) so there will be no new updates. It will be good to have some new tool for subs. @xp_eric - maybe you can ask author of srt2sup about info you need. FFS

indeed srt2sup is the only tool which can do this but is discontinued and didn't fullfill my needs completely. So if I can get my hands on the info I'll write an application myself... ;) Eric

Hi, I could not find any information on the SUP file format and the author of IfoEdit is now a commercial programmer :-( Instead I had to work it out for myself! This took hours and hours of my time and I am not keen to give this information away without getting some form of recongition for it! Srt2Sup a4.03 took nearly 6 months of 4 to 5 evenings a week to create, just to give you some idea of what you might be letting yourself in for! I may sometime in the future start Srt2Sup again, because I never beleived it was going to be so popular. It appears to be being used by around 3000 - 5000 people worldwide. Regards Srt2sup

I'm a programmer myself so I know what it takes to create a decent application (you can find an example on ) I'm now using DVDSupEncode which does the job me for the time being so it seems I actually have some spare time to actually watch the movies I encode ;) @srt2sup : Thanks for your honest answer I can understand... Hi, The other problem is that SUP is a stripped down VOB which is an MPEG stream and the information on MPEG is strictly controlled >:-( I like the look of your application although I use SureThing label maker myself! What do you use for development, I use Borland C++ builder? Regards Srt2Sup
