Hi there, I'm willing to purchase the HD 1 system and the 96I/O interface. Is there a way to connect an active surround system on them? Thanks, Marco.

Is this for post or music? Either way I would recomend Tomlinson Holman's book "5.1 Surround Sound up and Running". It's from Focal Press and you can get it at Amazon. After that check out Dr. Sound's(Marti Humphrey C.A.S.) sticky at the top of this forum on calibrating a surround room. But yes, 8 analogue outs will allow you to monitor the 6 outs of a surround mix.(with 2 to spare) If you already know all about surround mixing and you just wanted to know if an HD card and 92 I/O will allow you to to it then I guess Dr. sunshine hit it on the head and forgive my assumption there was more to your question than posed.
