ASIO crashes Reaper

I'll try it here. I just got a new (to me) Dell XPS 600 from work. It has XP Pro SP3 and a NVIDIA GeForce 7600GTX video card if that means anything. Whenever I set the audio system to ASIO, it shuts down Reaper. I have a Delta 1010LT card that's worked fine in my old machine. I reinstalled the latest Driver from M-Audio. I noticed that there are 28 processes running in the background. This machine didn't have a lot of junk on it and it was used as a show controller, just sending out time code and some serial commands. No Office, no Internet. Any Ideas what could be causing this?

I Found it 

There was another Audio driver controller loaded on the machine. I deleted it and everything's groovy. Thanks for the inspiration.
