Hi, I have just bought a 91 240gl with 280,000ks on the clock,it runs beautifuly, but I have 2 minor problems. The heater controls only light up at the bottom is there a seperate bulb for the top? & if so how do I get to it? Also the intirior light does not come on when you open the door, the light is off when the switch is in the middle but on when the switch is in the forward or rear position, any ideas? Regds Dalma.

theres 3 bulbs hidden in holders ,the top one illuminates the switches via holes above them whilst another illuminates the top of the heater controls another the bottom of them. all are simple push in bulbs available at halfords etc . i'm surprised the ashtray isnt illuminated perhaps my holder isnt put in right or a holes blocked above the ashtray ,is yours illuminated? all 3 of my bulbs had blown the door switches may just need the rubbers pulling off and cleaning its a simple metal on metal contact and not the best of designs
