hi john, one simple way is to create a new 29.97 session. then, import session data, select the old tracks from the old session session. then select SRC - for SOURCE SAMPLE RATE, select 47952, then impost, copying the tracks...this should pull it down by the .1% you need.
Actually what is truly happening is the file is being lengthened, no? Because it runs SLOWER at 29.97, therefore runs 1 percent longer. A simple use of time compression/expansion by 1 percent should do the trick as well, don't you think? -John

So now I'm murkey on the concept. Should C-Post still record at 48048 and import to the new session and SRC at 47952? Or record at 48000 and SRC to 47952?
it looked to me like he hadn't pulled upon recording. you can only set a new session up at 48k, but you can apply pull to the session after you created it, and then record. so, i was giving him a solution without rerecording the entire audio again.
Yes, well, as I followed minister's first instructions exactly, and it worked. I imported and compared both finished files, Minister's file was 1/10th of 1 percent longer, as it should be. Thanks again and God Bless (can't stop saying that!) -John
