Hey! We are due to make some post production on a movie, that currently is being edited in Adobe Premier/PC. The work mainly consists of making music to the scenes, and perhaps some dialoque overdubs. We have never tried this before. We have Mac/HD3 What is the best way to import the movie parts into Pro Tools? Does it have to be converted in to QuickTime? (I mean Nuendo can read all sorts of files. And it is very time consuming to convert all the .avi files to QT in Premier) Any good advise is welcome!

Just try exporting a small movie and see if you can open it with quicktime. If QT can read it then so can Pro Tools.
