"The zoom pre-set buttons" Why in world dont these pre-sets include the timline information? THere are designed to save a pre set "zoom resolution/depth". However they dont also bring you to the actual spot where you set them at. I realize the thinking is that while you are zoomed in to certain depth in the edit window, you can set one of these, and later further on down the song, you can re-select the pre-set and zoom back to the same reolution. My questio is this... Would it be MUCH more helpful if these buttons also had the option to save the actual place that you were editng? I have never needed the use of the way they are now. IF they were the other way you could pick a spot you were editing in, and later clik the button. and instantly be back at the exact same edit location where a particular edit location is. Does anyone use these buttons?.. Be honest..

You can create specify all this information in a Marker location. Brent

Those aMArkers are so Cumbersome too generate. THey dont work right. Ive tried it on many PT rigs. The method to recall a marker doesnt always register, and they dont remember the correct location! they simply zoom back to the beginning of the mark. Either I am not using the Markers right, ot it is a weird system. THanks for replying,..

I've never had a problem using the markers. as long as the proper radio button/checkbox selections are made in the markers window before saving the location or selection.

Talbosmake. How do you recall a marker selection? Am I missing something here? THe numbers method seems to work about 1 in every three times.

..More.. I understand all the radio button options. And I understand all the functions it presents. But how do you use it?
