I dont know... I would donate money to the guy if I could. I think his software is worth it. I just hope he finished 3.0 though... that layer break thing is probably the last thing that needs fixing really....the rest is gravy

Yes layer break would be nice but I would also like to see "closed caption" subtitle's added. As some DVD's only have "Closed Caption" Subtitles. I use DVDshrink 3 5 and I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"that layer break thing is probably the last thing that needs fixing really...." ...and it could be fixed sooner than you think. :)

Sounds like you could make a script to execute DVDShrink and then reset the IFO association. Would be fairly simply and a decent hack until the bug is fixed.

I had to remove - yes delete - all .IFO assosiations twice and then write them in to windows under "new" with "action" and "icon" to get them back to the way I like (ifoedit) - so it must be made an option or removed! Its nearly as bad as WinAmp.

if there is any chance to have closed captions as selectable subtitle it would be the definite killer app. the "ifo-thing" is rather annoying than a bug for me. can live with that... regards, mikegun

so why doesn't it do it on mine? I have my Ifoedit.INI files set to read only, but I doubt that's it how are you changing the association? using right click or via the folder options? my IFO icons are for DVDShrink but Ifoedit still opens them, no matter how many times I open DVDShrink
