Hi, --- the same behavior in 3.02 -- and changes of 'send all-notes-off on stop/play' (midi devices) and 'run fx when stopped' (playback) with no results -- Given or just produced midi data has to overwrite the default settings in Reaper. It should be a simple condition for a DAW, to play a midi file as it is. Oh well, Reaper looks fine! Cheers

I'm not entirely sure I understand the question, but -- if you want to send CC pan data with the ReaControlMIDI sliders, enable the control change section and set one slider to send pan. If you want only your recorded MIDI pan messages to play, turn off the ReaControlMIDI pan slider (disable the CC section, or set the pan slider to <none>). You can also do more complicated things by creating a track envelope for the ReaControlMIDI pan slider.
Sorry, still trying to understand. Can you describe exactly how the MIDI playback is different from what you recorded? By default, Reaper will send all-notes-off and reset pitch and CC when playback stops. If that is not desired, you can turn the note and pitch reset behavior off in options/preferences at the bottom of this window: We will shortly be adding a similar option to choose not to reset CC on stop/play.
I've recorded (the small files) exactly what I hear at playback (external device: Spirit M8, harman kardon CDR 20), to show ... At the end of the sound files you can heare the 'Reaper Effect'. Synth: Pan is going to center, vol is rising up to maximum. Efx: Reverb is changing from user (20 - nice chamber) to preset (20 - deep plate). I've testet with and without 'send-all-notes-of at stop/play'. It was indifferent. Not all tracks of the Reaper file have an output (midi), but this is secondary: I want to show the behavior of Reaper. Cheers
