How to import a 6.1LE track in a 5.3 TDM session?

I can import tracks but all I get is a gray area without the wav.

Sounds like Pro Tools can't locate the audio files.. so the region is "offline". Tell us how exactly you're sharing these files.. considering +90% of TDM systems are Mac based.. how did you get these sessions from the Mac and what's the audio file extension? Rail

It's a PC TDM and I make a copy of my LE session, burn it then load it to the TDM... I then drag it to the TDM hard drive, open the TDM session thats being worked on and then import the LE tracks. F.Y.I., I can open the session without importing on the TDM just fine and run the LE tracks.

In the TDM system.. use "Save Session Copy In..." and have it copy the audio files.. then burn the copy to CD.. It sounds like you're missing some files when you're buring the CD.. making the copy will localize all files. Rail

You must save the PT 6 session as a version 5 session, and save session copy, enforce Mac/PT compatiblity.
