850 T5 Starting Issue

Hi Chris, With the antenna ring, It is a new one that i have fitted, and i put some contact grease on the contacts as i fitted the new one. As far as the ecu goes, i have renewd the possitive and negative battery leans. Cleaned up the contact from the battery leads, had the ecu out and checked every wire from the ecu back. As yet i could not find any fault with it. If you have any ideas, i will look forward to reading them Regards Stuart

The only thing that comes to mind is to fit an LED and resistor across the coil LT connections to a point you can see when you crank the engine. It will be a quick indication if you are getting ignition pulses to the coil or not when you have the problem. This may help you narrow the problem down. You could do the same thing on a fuel injector.
