SPL measurement software?

I'm looking for some software that can take readings of the average dB levels from an SPL meter and publish them and a meter that would allow such software reading. I know you can do that with one of these: although I'm not sure what software they use to measure the readings. I'd also like to see if there are any cheaper meters out there that will do what I want.

What do you mean by "publish"? Is this for integrated loudness (LEL), a log of dBA figures? or actual unweighted dB figures? -Programme loudness (EBU 128R, LUFS)? ;) >

Most of the B&K ones log, I think, but big money. Maybe have time for a look into this later tonight. >
