This started happening a few days ago... When I click and drag a time selection on the ruler, it shows the white vertical lines (but the interior isn't brightened) and treats it like a loop zone, i.e. if repeat is on it loops what's inside it. But it's not a real time selection. If I right-click on it and choose 'remove contents of selection', I get an error of 'no time selection active'. It also doesn't move the edit cursor to that selection, despite having the option checked. If instead I click and drag a selection in the track area, it does become brighter, and the program lets me remove the contents and so on. The edit cursor also moves to the beginning of the selection. But now it doesn't loop the contents. It's as if the two functions got separated somehow. I can have two independent time selections (as seen in the attached picture). I'd really like to get this fixed. Any ideas? [edit] I'm new to the program so maybe the selections actually are supposed to be independent, but when I was first using it, making a loop selection definitely made a time selection too (as it should, seems to me).
