Get note names?

Is there a quick way to see what notes are used on a midi track? no repeats? just showing what notes?

Yea I noticed this too when using the pre updates. Sometimes the note names were visible and the next day they were not? And yes there was a setting option to display the midi note names, don't know if it is still available or not. Perhaps someone else can confirm please?

There was a option to show all the notes once. Like a list or something. So if the song had 50 Ab notes, 100 D notes and 75 E notes it would just list the notes contained in the midi file. Ab D E

anyone know of some software that will list notes in a midi file? without listing duplicates?

It might take you a week to go through all of them but if you can't find what you need there, don't know if you ever will?? In any case, there's tons of interesting plugins there so, even if you don't find what you need for this problem, I'm sure you'll find other really cool plugins! ;-)
