I tried to record in Stereo with my Bass Pod and my Line 6 gx, but I found the result to noisy. Is it possible to convert mono recordings to stereo?

Simple answer - no. The bass guitar is a mono instrument anyway, normally you wouldn't want to record it in stereo, although some FX might well produce a quasi-stereo output. However, adding FX after the initial recording will give you more flexibility when you reach the mix stage. It should be noted that very few 'popular' recordings are real stereo anyway, they are pan-potted mono, which is an entirely different animal to a proper stereo recording.

Thanks! I'm using my Line 6 gear to make demos of my weird Prog Metal songs that I hope to get recorded by a band one day.
