This is really far fetched but I have an 01X and use Mackie Emulation in ACID. For some reason some controls end up sending pitch change information. It is bizarre but disabling the remote control seems to work.

Yeah the sound device switching from 44khz to 48khz might sound like that...

Yes, I recorded output from the CME into a track on Reaper and played long enough for the pitch to change. Like if I played a G chord, the G, B, and D notes themselves stayed the same in the edit window, but the pitch changed on play back. When I would reset the song back to the beginning, the VSTi would reset as well back to the original pitch. For me that rather decisively points to some sort of code being assigned to the instrument. Now, if I could only figure out which one...

Maybe you could use MidiOX to monitor what exactly the keyboard is sending out and then use eg PIZ Midi notch filter before your plugin to filter the offensive code.

Wow! Never seen a Midi keyboard doing this by itself. Seems like the only (software) solution is to filer out pitchbend completely...
