Dudes, just found out a very strange thing. On one of my machines, where the DVD play function didn't work, I have changed in the display-properties, the rate of the Monitor from 85Hz to 60Hz, and suddenly the DVD play works! It looks like, it is only working with 60 Hz. I also tried 75 and 85, but always get this message that the video-stream couldn't be rendered properly. Can please someone of you check this out too, to see if this is the reason. I'm just curious.

i can use the dvd-play button fine. whenever i press it, it says 'no valid dvd files found' (or something like that), but then i hit continue and it plays fine. i run an ATI Radeon 8500 at 1600x1200x32 at 70hz on winxp.
@rect This message apears, when there's no VIDEO_TS.VOB file existing! But since we don't use menu's all the times, this file isn't needed. In that case, just ignore this message.
Plays fine on GeForce 3 at 1024x768 on high color with a 85 refresh rate, after clicking the no disk button. Derrow, if you get a chance would you take a look at this thread. Thanks don
