Hey all - I host a podcast, and record it every week using PTLE. I'm interested in taking live phone calls during the show, and i'm looking for a solution that will work with PT. Can you do this with Skype somehow, or something like that? I don't have a phone line in the house, so it'll have to be VOIP based. Thanks!

If you want to do this using skype, you should be running skype on a different computer and connect the line out from that computer into your PT rig.

You could of course use your built in soundcard for skype and connect that into your digidesign hardware but then of course you would be running a pretty unstable system with both the internet connection and your built in soundcard at the same time as you are running pro tools. If you do that I would recommend some serious testing before going live.

you can record your phone conversation using skype.For it try use .I told about prog.It's helps me a lot.
