FR: Import Session Data to Specified Range

It would be very helpful if one of two conditions could be added to the import session data feature. 1. Allow the user to import automation so that the destination AND imported automation are combined. 2. Allow the user to define a specific range where automation in a destination session will be replaced by imported automation. IF there is already a way to do this, please share it with me. Thanks

I agree wholeheartedly. It's a pain in the bum when you import session data from multiple commercials and the latest one wipes out the automation on the previous ones if you assign them to the same tracks. The workaround is to assign all incoming data to "new track" and manually move regions to required tracks afterwards. Assuming you're using digitranslator for all this, you can also offset the incoming data by changing the timecode map time. Then you can hold down the control key whilst shifting regions to required tracks, and that will stop them accidentally being moved sideways. good luck, hope this helps, cheers, John.

AND....Be able to select NO automation! As in volume level without automation.
