Problem Playing DVD-R discs on Apex AD-1100w

It seems when i reauthor a movie or capture and encode to dvd and author my files they play choppy and arent very watchable, yet when i rip a dvd-5 disc and reburn, it has no problems playing at all.If anyone know of a solution please reply. Thanks Redfield

What are you using to author your DVD's? What do you use to encode the video? what bit rate and are you using constant or variable ? ________

i have used cce sp and tmpgenc and ulead dvd workshop to encode and i have used maestro and ulead to author to no avail

I had a similar problem recently with a movie i encoded with CBR, are you encoding with VBR?

I have encoded with CBR and VBR to no avail
