Tabs are pretty crazy and am just skimming the surface of them, but would like some things regarding loading and saving: so multiple tabs can be saved/reopened / as template. have option to open a template into a new tab. have a default 'load on startup' selection of tabs, eg load up reaper and there is a template in one tab and a project/blank/template in the other tab. (think firefox) as mentioned alot, syncing of project tabs. probably more from other users but thats as far as i have played with them... oh yes - project tab combined mixer too, key really. can be done at the mo with 'js vol' plugs, leaving the fx windows open alongside another tabs proper mixer, but bit messy.
just noticed this, so i'd like to thank the comedian who rated this 'one star' (terrible?) but doesn't wish to say why...!

I strongly advise you to never pay any regard to the star thing : hardly any one ever does them, so any inferred meaning is coincidental. Next thing, you'll be 5 starring your own threads, and then you'll hate yourself :) I think the idea of being able to save your entire Reaper session, and various templates thereof, is a fantastic one that I'd find very useful myself. In fact, I like it so much I'm going to 5 star this thread. Hmm... This post may lack any kind of internal logic ;)
an [open project in new-tab] in the [file] menu + option [always open new project in new tabs] <- if i have missed it. the syncing of tabs would be an overkill imho. i can only imagine the cpu power and ideas people have these days. :-) ps: summary cpu meter for all projects aka resource meter for this reaper instance
cheers! just thought it was amusing really. i can understand rating a thread 5/5, but if u think one sucks then let it fade into obscurity! liteon, true. i mentioned syncing as i had heard it discussed before and for creative stuff it could be v. cool, cpu use is a concern. key points I found were open/save multi-tab projects/templates, and a tabbed project combined mixer. if anyone is using tabs now for anything that isn't just experimental I'd be interested to hear about it.
just to say thanks overlords for addition of`save all projects` - [its not tabbed project save or reload! but its a step closer!] whilst am here a global play for all tabs or selected tabs would be pretty handy.. ha :)
