I'm using Gordian Knot 0.28, and occasionally (actually it happens a lot) I'll encode a movie that sounds like what I can only describe as the center channel being cancelled. I may be incorrect in that. The dialog sounds really quiet, while sound effects are deafening. Also, music sounds wrong. You can hear the echoes of sounds, but the sound itself is very quiet. I've now had this problem twice in a row, encoding Jerry Maguire and Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, and I need to figure out what's going on. It happens if I use Robot4Rip or if I do the audio encoding manually in GKnot. I'm using the default audio encoding command-line arguments in Robot4Rip, but I also get it if I use the "surround" arguments that used to be recommended in the Doom9 guide. (It's now recommended to use Robot4Rip.) Anybody know what's going on here?
