That can't be done either. Transport controls are working for only one project at any one time. Perhaps you should try PiP, which is still preliminary. Do a search on the forum, you'll find info how to activate it.

Just try PiP. I think you'll be amazed that you won't actually need two tabs for this, just two tracks. What PiP is, basically, is project in project, where you load a RPP file just like it's an ordinary media item. Then you can crossfade the track volumes, all within one tab. There you have it. Your ideas are overthinking and overcomplicating it.

I was thinking of the sync tab thing (to manage complex track layouts) and came across this thread - pip is amazing. I hope it continues to be supported
