+1 It's comforting to know I'm not alone in wanting this feature (see link below). Pete

IMO a swing-able grid is one of the hallmarks of a good MIDI editor. Hosts known for advanced MIDI-editing capabilities (i.e. not ProTools) have this very feature. Reaper has implemented some of the smartest, easiest MIDI editing features already. Implementing this would continue along those lines.

plus +100 ! In the past we discussed here the "Grid Edit Mode", where you can - move each grid line by hand (and have them snap to a nearest note or item starting/ending point), - extract grids/grooves from items or from a group of selected notes, - make "grid groups" used to groove quantize multiple selected tracks, - the grids move in sync with their parent items. Btw. I wonder if grid editing and groove quantize should be merged into a single feature, or to be separate viewing/editing methods. Sometimes it is good to see where the "rigid" grid lines are in relation to the groove, or to be able to move a "grooving" item or note snap it to a fixed metronome point.

+1 This plus the ability to groove quantize would be great.
