Decoder Options in XVID Encoder

Hi, In XVID builds after December 09 the encoder has two new options inside "Decoder Options": Luma deblocking and Chroma deblocking Does this mean pre-processing before encoding, or some sort of encoding optimization for post-processing?

They are post-processing options that won't be used with my decoder, but will be used with anything that uses the DLL, i.e ffdshow (with use xvid.dll set) and VirtualDub. -Nic

But these are just flags, or any kind of encoding optimization regarding the deblocking result ?

I test this VfW's postprocessing (built-in on xvid.dll, not xvid.ax). It's excelent!!! Nic's decoder is good too, but too strong for me (I make movies with average quant about 3). Built-in luma/chroma deblocking is decent, prety soften, very nice for me! Don't blurring more. Question: This deblocking algorithm is smartly depend on used quant in postprocessed video? :D

@harrym afaik, you can weaken the postprocessing in nic's decoder by _increasing_ the threshold values.
