850 Immobiliser woes!

Hi There, To get going, pull out fuse number 6, or 7, under the bonnet on the drivers side. (I am 90% sure it is number 6, maybe someone can confirm ?) This will let the car start but knock out your central locking so when you stop you will need to put the fuse back again to allow you to lock the doors with a key. Hope this helps.

FOB or RECEIVER? 

Mike ,thanks for your reply , i appreciate the help! Do i go and buy a new fob and log this one on as before or do i have a fault with immobiliser relay unit do you think ?just need reassurance before splashing out.! thanx
