... also you could add an Insert Piz Here MIDI plugin as a filter in REAPER Here is an example usage to convert CC 1 below the threshold of 12 to zeros... I have used midiConverter3 in this example. For live playing and recording you'd want to add that as an input FX.

Thanks guys. 4x4uk, I thought MIDI-OX was just for analyzing/troubleshooting, I'll have to look into it more. hamish, that plugin suite is awesome, thank you! It looks like this will be perfect. I just have to test it for live playing, but yeah maybe the problem is solved. Still wish they didn't make this pedal with such a ridiculous design. I was shocked what I found when I took it apart - a metal coil with two prongs sticking out to create a spring, wrapped around a small plastic piece that was controlling whatever pot was soldered to the other side of the board. With MIDI-OX open the only way i could get a 00 value was by either compressing it and then suddenly releasing so it snapped back into place, or by removing the spring from it's resting spot. Since it's a three in one pedal, and therefore has three of these things, I know it's a design flaw and not just a "bad/broken one". Will report back later when the problem is confirmed to be solved.
