Rewire not showing up in FX

I am want to try and load Ableton Live via Rewire but there is no rewire option when I go to add vst/fx I have check for rewire checked for start up and that doesnt work either.

Odd. This is no help to you, but it's fine here. Reaper 3.04, Ableton Live 7.0.14. Mine's the lite version that came with an M-Audio keyboard and shows up as Ableton Live Rewire. As far as I remember there was no special installation (no checkbox), it just appeared and has worked through updates of both programs. You could try re-installing Live. Steve
