Reaper has a lot of nudge actions. There are nudge extensions. How do I nudge like in PT where I just hit a key stroke, and I dial in a number per region, or blocks of regions. I see reaper has pos offset but I can only do it by 1 region at a time. I could set up fx regions with time adjuster js, but that's only to the ms. How do I do PT style nudging, I really need help with this, esp lining up drum tracks OH and what not. Timing on vox etc. Please help here.

what kind of numbers do you want to dial in ? bars/beats ? ms ? You can do both of that with Xenakios' extension. There you can dial in the amount (say 5 ms or 3 beats etc.) and hit nudge nudge nudge and you're done.
I'm looking for beats (16th 32nd 64th 128th 256th etc . . .) Time (1ms 10ms 100ms 10samples 100samples 1000samples etc . . .) I think I have all his extensions, which one are you speaking of exactly? Also, does it work on say, 60 audio clips at once, moving them all "said" amount of time / beats / divisions? I presume since the extension does this, reaper does not do it natively, as I'm not looking for a key command to nudge (I'll add that later) I'm just looking for a run of the mill nudge like I'm used to. Thanks guys.
Check out the config box of Xenakios extension. You'll find what you're looking for there in the menu "Extensions/Command Parameters". You can set up nudge distance for time and beats separately, and they're accessed with different commands too. They work on multiple selected files at once. In Protools moving the edit cursor, moving items, moving automation is all the SAME two actions. The one benefit Xenakios' actions give you are that you can set up nudge distances for both time and beat grids. The downfall for us post types is that there is no frame grid to travel on. 29.97df grids should not be travelled on with time increments of milliseconds, as Xenakios' time configuration does. In all it's another missing thing in Reaper itself, because the developers didn't know about or didn't think it was important, and therefore didn't listen to people who think it is and actually used it for the last decade or two. Screwup.
Way to fuck up a good post, Jason. Obviously not having robust nudging is not a good thing in any DAW. I have to go hunting for the manual or an extension just to slightly relax the feel of a vocal. I just ended up using the Time Adjuster plugin, but it's very crude and works on a global track level. And it's too much to insert it per region. I'll have to learn Xenakios extensions for this, but I think I've learned it already, and have forgotten it that fast. Just a plain "Screwup" if you ask me too. Most of the stuff I see in V3 feels like the logic stuff I was going bat shit over 2 years ago. It's looking good, I just personally need those few 3 or 4 small things to keep work flow very easy.

Larry I agree the thread was messed up - but that happened before Jason or I posted here. Your point was an excellent one and I was watching to see if Cockos would mention anything about intention to add something natively. But then airon suggesting the developers don't listen, don't know about things or don't care and using the term "screwup" was plain unfriendly and unlikely to help your initial point meet a warm reception. It turns an interesting question into a moan/whingefest. The "didn't listen to" was simply a "they didn't listen to me" moment and comes across as childish rather than fitting for the professional requiring "pro" features. Believe me, so much has been achieved in REAPER down to positive, polite requests and patience.
Ah, so I suppose some of the hostility was pointed at me? That's odd if anyone looks at the first post of this thread. There's no flames, or any of that, just how the hell do I do A so I can get to B. About automation, relative grid, copy "with automation," uber nudging tools, down to the sample, click spot tools, based on any division of time. I only make music, and a lot of that stuff is Very important for what I do. There are a few workarounds, but not many. It could be as simple as the guys sitting down with two nudge / spot / automation egg heads, and just copy out feature A from X, and feature B from Y. I digress.
