Hi I've just installed the latest version of Spectrasonics Stylus RMX (1.9), and since then I've had multiple crashes with a project that includes RMX, but was running fine before the upgrade. Unfortunately Reaper doesn't just crash, my whole system crashes and locks up. I cannot move the mouse, nor input anything via the keyboard. The only option is to go for a hard reset, or a system shut down. There is no log file of the issue in Event Viewer. The crash only occurs when the project is playing. It only takes a couple of minutes, sometimes only seconds of playing for the problem to occur. I've opened the file where the problem occurred and deleted any tracks associated with RMX as that seemed the obvious culprit and played the file without it. The crash doesn't happen any more. Although this isn't an exhaustive test I think it is an indication of a potential problem. I have a Quad Core system running Windows XP SP3 with 4gb RAM. I am using Reaper 3.14. Sound is managed by an M-Audio Firewire 410. There is a glitchy sound just before the crash and my audio interface seems to become disconnected. The blue light on the 410 starts to flash, instead of being constant. I have updated the 410 to the latest drivers from M-Audio (issued very recently), but it didn't stop the crashes. Is anyone else having the same problem? Regards Kulutuu
