I would say, at the very least, that having start / end / length labels would certainly reduce any ambiguity. From there, moving on to being able to walter the 3 bits individually, and get at their font settings, would open up lots of possibilities.
This will be improved... just give it some time. How do I know? I don't... but I can guess. :) And this isn't about audio vs MIDI workflows, it concerns both!
On a big screen it seems ridiculously small and fuzzy. It's not too complicated to fix, and it isn't considered as a new feature. Come on luv, please have a heart for the nearly blind.

I hope this isn't OT from original idea, but I usually don't sit in front of my DAW when recording. My QWERTY is in a rack, and the LCD is rackounted and the rack is 6'6" high. So I use my controller for most recording/tracking needs, and editing just requires me to walk over and use the QWERTY 1U drawer. I need the timeline font at 24 or 26 so I can view the bar count. Minutes and seconds on the transport are used when editing. But I find that that markers font is the same as the timeline font. No biggie, but it would be nice for those to be seperated also. Thanks So Much.....
i agree. the selection/length fields are way too small. When their text is selected, as might be in a copy/paste situation, it's even more difficult to read and type in. Also, related, it should be possible to directly copy the current time from the transport display for pasting elsewhere.
