Hey thanks for the help, so really I can learn to come up with a good master just with the plug-ins of protools? And you info really helped me to keep my drive of using what I have, and my senses, and wisdom to help with the mastering. To where its not about the products, and everyhting.

I will second the Ozone recommendation if budget is of concern. It took me a while to get a grip on what all this little jewel offers. I highly recommend you read the two guides on . Not only does it tell what Ozone does for mastering, but covers a lot of groundwork. The Dithering Guide is most helpful! Pay specific attention to the last section when it talks about how to keep your least significant bits (LSB) at zero when dithering from 24bit to 16bit. The guide also tells in great detail the workings of dithering. This $199- is probably the best money spent on plugins yet other than the Inspector XL. Actually, I got the bundle which included Trash (nice amp modeler!) and Spectron (Nice toy ) for $299-. Of course I have Waves but am finding it difficult to instantiate anything Waves due to the corrupt WUP practices. That was a very painful lesson. "Life's to short for ==>> WUP!!!"
