Are we the only professional audio application that does not have some form of ADC right now? I was actually contemplating going HD just for that one feature. However, that idea is quite an expensive one and I need NOTHING else HD offers. I wonder who else is like me in that respect. I would rather have DIGI make it an upgrade purchase for LE users. This way allowing people to use UAD-1, Duende, etc... and have it delay compensated. I just don't know if ADC would (in this lifetime) ever be incorporated into LE. However the upgrade price to make it an option seems like a good one. This way people like me that don't need ANYTHING that HD offers (other than ADC) can still get it for a price much lower than full blown HD. DIGI gets their money and we get ADC. By the way, I don't want to hear a peep about nudging my Duende tracks. Take my money DIGI, please. That's all this is really about anyway, just business (not knocking it but thems the facts). I would love it if they incorporated ADC into that $500 LE upgrade but I'm not sure if that would ever happen either. Probably a lot more people would spring for that particular upgrade because it would make LE so much more complete in general. Pro Tools kicks major A*s and I would love to expect more from it in the very near future. Like it or not native is where the future is for thousands of people doing high quality pro work out of their houses. Many doing this work just don't have a need for tracking a band and in general don't need the extra features of HD. I am still surprised by what native is doing right now. I just finished a song on my Dual 2.7 with tons of stuff going on. I am excited about the future knowing that when I upgrade to the next generation Intel Macs it will be even cooler. Take the handcuffs of me DIGI... and I'll give you your money in return.
Automatic Delay Compensation, usually covers I/O busses, maybe int/ext devices, Effects sends/Returns PDC= Plug In Delay Compensation, usually aplies to just a plug in People ask me why I still use Cubase SX3, well, this is why. It has ADC for external devices coming in and going out as well, SWEET
