Also the current display of automation is somehow not very convenient, If you edit into - area you soon get without editing space and the envelope lane has to be enormously zoomed vertically and it is still very hard to precisely trim bellow -35db Here is a comparison with logics automation placement. Logic has much more room on - values. REgards J

although this would be an imrovement to the current automation handling, I would still prefer an Automation-Draw and Transformation-Tool like studio one's. This coupled with Reaper-Automation items would be unbeatable :)
