Why oh why do I come up with unfixable scenarios. First the "bad midi chunk" scenario (that degidesign never got back to me about) and now the dread 9060. Internal SATA no journaling importing all tracks to another session doesn't work defragged the drive Only happens in one spot. Got rid of all fades at that spot. Muted all audio in the entire song and it still stops at that one spot. Could it be a bad fade on another playlist? Obviously muting tracks and regions does not stop the problem. Why does this happen to tracks that I'm just about to deliver to the record company. Murphy's law. Murphy is a jerk.

I suspect you have a corrupt track at that spot. This is not an April Fool's joke. Try deactivating all the tracks and pressing play at that spot. This will confirm or refute my theory.

And you were right. Strange how you have to dactivate the track. Muting the track or regions does not work. In this case......after I discovered the culprit track............ I was able to merely delete a few milliseconds of silence from the start of a region and all was fixed. Even if I revealed that section again it was ok. It's like I just had to touch it and everything returned to normal. That region was not even playing when I got the error. It was about 3 seconds away from playing and yet it was causing the 9060. This caused me about 3 hours of wasted time. However I know what to do from now on and so will others who read this. So I guess all is not lost. Thanks Chief!
