really, again, the best way to deal with all of it is something we rarely do: just ignore it. completely. The issues that are brought up by such trolls sometimes are very valid, just put in a disturbingly antisocial way. Sooner than later, a more reasonable person will state the same issue, without being a dick - and the devs are more inclined to listen, and since it is inspiring a real conversation and not just an angry pissing match, you'll get more user input too. feeding trolls simply makes the S2N go down

Good point Jason. On that note, a big thumbs up to the REAPER dev team for the latest work on the takes system, especially considering there wasn't going to be anything considerable done until V4. IMHO, what has ALREADY been done in the latest pre-releases is a HUGE step in the right direction. As I posted in the pre14 topic, I'd love to see the take selection activated via a modifier key + mouse click. That way, we won't accidentally mess up a good take selection when shifting the play head by clicking on items rather then blank areas or the time ruler.
