How do I Sync a Drum Machine (Alesis HR-16) in Reaper?

Damn! I got it! I was trying everything before and after this post and I just couldn't get her working till I went to options and clicked OFF sync enabled in the external time sync setion, go figure? Now she is up and running in sync with Reaper, thanks you all!!! Now under prefrences/ midi devices I've set in to enable input, enable output/ set clock ssp to output and low latence out mode.
